- Biography
- Navin Perera is a Senior Economist and currently serves as the Head of the Money & Banking Division at the Economic Research Department of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL). He joined CBSL in 2010 and has extensive experience in Monetary Policy, Money & Banking, and Modelling & Forecasting. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics (Distinction) from the University of Warwick, UK (2016), an MBA from ICFAI University, India (2012), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude, Honors) from Troy University, Alabama, USA (2008). In addition to his role at CBSL, he serves as a Visiting Lecturer and Resource Person in Central Banking, Monetary Policy, and Macroeconomic Policy at the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL) and the Centre for Banking Studies (CBS).
