Biography

Caspar Siegert, PhD is Head of Climate Risk in the Bank of England’s Markets Directorate. His responsibilities include overseeing the management of climate-related financial risks that the Bank of England is exposed to via its monetary policy operations and foreign exchange reserves. Caspar previously worked in range of financial stability roles at the Bank of England – including as a senior manager in the field of macroprudential policy, in prudential policy, and in bank resolution. Between 2020 and 2022, Caspar worked for a US asset manager in the field of sustainable investing.
