- Evertjan Veenendaal is Senior Portfolio Manager within the BIS Asset Management unit. His responsibilities include managing the first BIS Green Bond Fund since its inception in 2019 and managing the BIS Asian Green Bond Fund since its inception in 2022. Prior to joining the BIS, Evertjan worked as senior portfolio manager at the Dutch Central bank where he worked on unconventional monetary policy before moving to Asset Management and ultimately assuming the responsibility for all internally managed funds. He started his career as a derivatives trader at one of the large principal trading firms in Amsterdam. Evertjan earned his master’s degree in analytical finance with distinction from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. He is a CFA charterholder and an FRM.
