Biography

Konstantin Bottenberg is Head of Supervisory Technologies (SupTech) at the European Central Bank. His team is responsible for the ECB’s SupTech portfolio and for implementing cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence into supervisory processes. He also steers the innovation management framework for banking supervision and SSM-wide digital transformation programmes. Before his role in SupTech, Konstantin worked in other ECB banking supervision functions and has worked in research and consulting before joining the ECB. He holds a PhD in strategic management from LMU Munich.
