- Biography
- John Jackson is Head of the Payment Strategy Division, working in the Bank of England’s Payments Directorate. He is responsible for setting the long-term strategy enabling the Bank’s central bank money payment services to evolve in response to a changing world and to promote modernisation in the wider payments landscape. During his 20+ years at the Bank John has worked in the Markets, Financial Stability and Prudential Policy areas. He has also spent a year on secondment at the New York Fed, working in their Financial Institutions Supervision Group. Most recently he was the Product Lead for the Bank’s RTGS Renewal programme.
